Our company, founded in 1956 as a manufacturing-trading company that succeeded the business division of Pacific Metals Co., Ltd. (then Nisso Steel Co., Ltd.), has worked to expand and sell the products [cast steel, forged steel, alloy iron, nickel, stainless steel, and others] of Pacific Metals Co., Ltd. and companies in the same group and the products of manufacturers outside the group [industrial machinery, chemical machinery, hydraulic equipment, IT-related equipment, and others], and has contributed to society while achieving growth and development to date.
Furthermore, we have expanded our business activities by setting up 17 offices domestically and internationally. We strengthened sales, expanded our overseas sales offices, and are aiming for further evolution, by integrating sales of three group companies whose businesses were integrated in December, 2003. Specifically, those companies are the Pacific Steel Mfg. Co., Ltd. [Forged Steel], the Pacific Special Alloy Castings Co., Ltd. [Cast Steel], and the Yonago Steel Co., Ltd. [Cast Steel].
We will respond flexibly to changes in the environment surrounding our company based on our management philosophy of integrity and trust, respect for human resources, and being a creative company, as well as providing high-value products that meet the needs of our users. We will promote continued growth and development of our customers and companies in our group, and will contribute to society.
